Heresy
It's the main theme of my new photo manipulation: Condemned. It's been a while since I last invested so much time in creation of a photomanip (somewhere around 12 hours, not all in one day of course), and I consider it one of my better pieces. Too bad I wasn't able to finish it for the exhibition.
I wish to thank everyone for your comments. I hope I'll get around to uploading some freebies and tutorials as well, but I prefer to work on my art right now so I really don't know when that will happen.

It looks gorgeous Nela. I like the unconventional themes (I hope unconventional is the right word, I am not sure.... wish I was a native speaker) in your arts. Myself, I rather stick with easy themes. It's easier. *laughs*
The manip is well done, as far as I can judge from my own pool of knowledge about manipulating images. I readily belive you needed 12 hours for that. I often need 12 to 17 hours myself in the rare cases I do make a manip.
Since the fire is 'bellow' the woman, shouldn't she be lighted with an orange glow beneath her arms and hands, etc.? It's just a suggestion you may take or throw away. It came to my mind when viewing the piece.

rad je prekrasan... pogledala sam i druge radove, i moram ti reći ono što znaš i što si čula i pročitala mali milijun puta. a to je da si stvarno talentirana.
ja također obožavam raditi svakakve gluposti sa slikama, ali to je kod mene još u povojima, tek sam s tim počela i polako samu sebe upoznajem s tim. zasad to radim u photoshopu, nemam druge programe, u biti imam, ali nemam pojma raditi u njima.
u svakom slučaju, puno sreće i razvoja u tvom daljnjem napredovanju...
a tko zna- možda jednog dana, meni netko bude pisao ovakve komentare... :)

Thanks, everyone! :) I'm glad you like the new work.
@Midnight: Yes, unconventional could be the correct expression, if I understood well what you meant :) I prefer this, because I like to get through to people, so they focus on the subject instead of the quality of execution.
Actually there is some orange lighting at the bottom of arms, but I guess it's too subtle... There is an imaginary strong light source at the top left, so that's why these shadows are dominant.
@optimistična: šteta što si izbrisala blog, htjela sam pogledati što radiš.
ako nastaviš eksperimentirati i učiti, nema sumnje da ćeš imati sve bolje i bolje radove :)

otvorila sam novi blog - ali na njemu nije skoro ništa... možda, akd budem imala inspiracije... u kojim programima radiš?
ima li išta novo? cijelu sam galeriju (svega!) već pogledala :)

crtam i editiram fotografije u Photoshopu, a programiram u Notepadu. neke stvari crtam u Illustratoru ili Flashu, ovisno za što treba, ali toga nema ovdje u galeriji.
ne znam jesi li pogledala sketchblog (cwtam, link u stupcu desno), tamo stavljam skice i nedovršene stvari pa ako te zanima, svrati :)

I really love your new pieces. I take a long time, to finish my stuff too. But, I have a habit of staying up late, just to finish it all in one day. ._.; I'm always anxious to see what the final results looks like.
You also shouldn't have to worry about what to add next to your site, since it is yours. :3

I do that as well when I have the time, but I had lectures early in the morning and work to do during the day, so I had only a few hours a day to spare for my own stuff. Heh, tell me about it :D
