Already a new painting! :) But the fact is, this painting is half a year old, and now I'm trying to cut of all the tails I left behind, so I can work on new things without something hanging over my head.

Wow, this looks gorgeous already. I think though, that it might profit from some shadows. Even if it is wintry and no sun is shining there should be shadows on the ground when it's day, shouldn't it? It's just a suggestion, though. I am by no means an expert about painting, as you know. LOL

You're right, I thought of it as a misty day where the light is very dull, and the snow reflects back all the light so some great shadows couldn't have been present... but I probably went too far with negating the shadows :)
I won't be fixing this, but I'll find some references the next time I do something like this... I'm inventing way too much :)
