HTML entities
Here is my choice of characters you can't get easily because they aren't on your keyboard. If you add the entity to your HTML document, it will appear as shown. I didn't put all of them in this chart because some of them aren't interesting, some of them are apparently invisible in certain fonts, and some of them just weren't pretty :P You can find plenty of pages on the net that include all the characters, for instance XHTML Character Entity Reference includes a total of 252.
